Film Threads is a platform for film reviews, discussion, awards predictions and frequent WTF moments when yet another reboot or Jane Austen adaptation is announced.
Your tour guides are Australia-based Belinda, a professional writer, whose favourite movies are From Here to Eternity (1953) (dir Fred Zinnemann) & First Reformed (2017) (dir Paul Schrader) and Gabe, film student, writer & musician whose favourite movie is I’m Not There (2007) (dir Todd Haynes). Sometimes our tastes diverge, but we both would have given Barbie the Oscar ahead of Oppenheimer.
